So, help me out here: is it Rickie Fowler or the Rickie Fowler girlfriend mystery that has the golf world all a-flutter? The answer is: both. Rickie’s performance has the golf world excited. The girlfriend question is just vexing female fans of Rickie’s nice… uhm… putt.
It seems if people aren’t talking about his lime-green outfit, then they were talking about his Dutch Boy haircut. Or wondering if he has a girlfriend. Actually, that last bit is the question of the golf groupie contingent.
Meanwhile, Fowler, 21, made an eagle and four birdies for a second-round 66, or 13 under par, as well as tying the 36-hole scoring record at the Memorial. this gives Fowler a three-shot lead over Justin Rose, and four-shots lead Tim Petrovic and Jim Furyk.
