I’m guessing “freegan” is a play on the word “vegan” yes? Implying that finding ways of opting out of the relentless consumer culture where only new is good, and the only good things are new, is seen as suspect as someone wanting a healthy, cruelty-free diet? In other words, being a freegan means you live in the same province as freaks, hippies, anarchists, street people and the mentally unsound.

Fine. Spend too much money on the new and the shiney. The rest of us, especially those who grew up poorer than Middle Class or those who see the perils of materialism every day, will continue to enjoy the benefits of having without being enslaved to possessions, and of not worrying so much about money, because we know how to get by

Figuratively speaking, the Drew Carey weight loss stats equal the loss of a good-sized child. The famous comedian/actor/Price is Right host went on a rather significant diet, dropping something close to 80 lbs.

Good for you Drew.

The long-overweight comedian/actor had been suffering from Diabetes (Type II) for many, many years, but now, with the “Drew Carey Weight Loss Plan,”, the man is no longer needing the medicines he used to take to manage the condition, and say he feels great. He certainly looks a whole lot better than he has over the years.
